Psychotherapy- Intended to help people to improve and maintain their mental health and wellbeing through talking or non-verbal means, within a therapeutic relationship with a trained psychotherapist. The psychotherapist and client(s) work together to bring about positive change and self-awareness, in the context of social and cultural factors, that support the clients' thinking, feeling, behaviour, and social functioning that affect their day-to-day lives and relationships (CRPO, 2023).
Art Therapy- Is a form of psychotherapy that uses art making and the creative process as a means to achieve insight, self-awareness, personal growth and healing. Art therapy takes places within a therapeutic relationship between a trained art therapist and an individual/dyad/or group. No artistic skill or experience is necessary for those interested in engaging in art therapy (OATA, 2023).
Clinical Supervision- A contractual relationship in which a clinical supervisor engages with a supervisee to discuss the direction of therapy and the therapeutic relationship. Clinical supervision aims to promote the professional growth of the supervisee; enhance the supervisee's safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship; and to safeguard the well-being of the client (CRPO, 2023).

Hi, I’m Erin. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Art Therapist practicing in Ontario, Canada.

Through the creative process of art-making, talk, and play, I support young children, youth, caregivers, and those engaged with reproductive healthcare to gain self-awareness and insight, building caring relationships with themselves and those around them. Through our relationship, I aim to cultivate a safe space for the people I work with to explore life’s challenges and to grow into their potential.

No artistic skill or experience with visual art making is required and all materials are provided.

I have over 15 years of practice experience across community agency and private practice settings. My areas of specialization include attachment, trauma and loss, gender-based sexual violence, emotional support in connection with reproductive planning/ infertility/ reproductive loss/ reproductive healthcare, perinatal/maternal mental health, infant and early childhood (0-6) mental health, and adolescent mental health/life transitions.

I provide in-person and virtual services individually, through caregiver/infant-child dyads, and through groups.

I also specialize in providing clinical supervision for practicing psychotherapists, art therapists, and social workers who are qualifying or registered members of CRPO, OCSWSSW, CATA, OATA, or CCPA.
